Governance Documents
The New Brunswick Nurses Union (NBNU) is governed by two key documents that define our structure, operations, and guiding principles:
Constitution & By-Laws
Our constitution sets out how we operate as a democratic union in which members have their say in decisions and policies.
Policy Manual
NBNU operates through a set of structural policies that guide how our leadership and staff work.
These documents ensure transparency, accountability, and democratic governance within NBNU
Changes to these documents:
Proposed changes to the Constitution & By-Laws or the Policy Manual are presented, discussed, and voted on by members during the Annual General Meeting (AGM). Approved amendments are incorporated into the official documents following the AGM.
