NBNU Post-Secondary Scholarships
Our Union helps students in New Brunswick pursue their dreams by providing financial support in the form of scholarships. Every year, we give three non-nursing students—whose parents are members—$1,000 each to put towards their post-secondary education.
Eligibility
You may be eligible for a scholarship if you’re enrolled in non-nursing post-secondary program. You must also meet the following requirements:
- Be registered in a community college or university program
- Be a child of a current NBNU member
- Maintain good academic standing
How to apply
Applications are due by September 30 of each year. You will need to:
- Complete the online or downloadable application form below
- Attach a proof of acceptance or enrollment into your non-nursing program
- Submit a 250-word essay on “How unions have shaped today’s workforce”
- Include a transcript or letter of reference from a teacher
